At VANKYO, we stand behind the quality of our projectors and are committed to providing dependable products and responsive customer support.
This Warranty Policy explains the warranty coverage available for eligible VANKYO projectors, how to submit a warranty claim, and the solutions that may be provided when a covered product issue occurs.
This Warranty Policy is separate from the VANKYO Return & Refund Policy. Returns requested because of personal preference, compatibility, or change of mind are handled under the Return & Refund Policy.
This Warranty Policy does not affect any consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
VANKYO projectors are covered by a one-year warranty beginning on the original date of purchase shown on a valid proof of purchase.
Warranty service does not restart or extend the original warranty period.
A repaired or replacement product will remain covered for the remainder of the original warranty period, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.
This Warranty Policy applies to VANKYO projectors purchased:
Directly from ivankyo.com; or
From a VANKYO-authorized retailer or reseller.
Warranty service is provided to the original end-user purchaser and requires valid proof of purchase.
Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, private sellers, liquidation sellers, auction sellers, or other unapproved sources are not covered under this Warranty Policy.
For products purchased from an authorized third-party retailer, requests for returns or refunds should generally be submitted to the original retailer under that retailer’s applicable policy. VANKYO may still provide eligible warranty support for confirmed product defects during the warranty period.
The VANKYO warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal use within the warranty period.
Covered issues may include confirmed failures involving:
Internal electronic components;
The projection system;
The power system;
Built-in controls;
Built-in speakers;
Factory-installed ports and connectivity components;
Integrated stands, hinges, or mechanical structures; or
Other projector components that fail because of a manufacturing defect.
Warranty coverage applies when the projector has been:
Used normally and for its intended purpose;
Operated in accordance with the user manual and safety instructions;
Used with compatible power supplies, cables, accessories, and connected devices;
Stored and operated within recommended environmental conditions; and
Kept free from unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair.
Normal differences in appearance, sound, brightness, fan behavior, or performance that remain within the product’s published specifications are not considered product defects.
The VANKYO warranty does not cover:
Products without sufficient proof of purchase;
Products purchased from unauthorized sellers;
Products outside the one-year warranty period;
Lost, stolen, discarded, or destroyed products;
Normal wear and tear;
Cosmetic damage that does not affect normal operation;
Scratches, dents, stains, discoloration, or surface wear caused by use;
Damage caused by accident, dropping, impact, crushing, or improper transportation;
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper operation;
Damage caused by liquid, moisture, condensation, fire, smoke, sand, dust, insects, or foreign objects;
Damage caused by extreme temperatures, excessive heat, improper ventilation, direct sunlight, or unsuitable storage conditions;
Damage caused by unstable voltage, power surges, incompatible adapters, or improper power supplies;
Damage caused by improper installation, mounting, placement, or handling;
Damage caused by use that does not follow the user manual or safety instructions;
Damage caused by unauthorized disassembly, repair, modification, or alteration;
Damage caused by incompatible third-party parts, accessories, cables, software, applications, or services;
Issues caused solely by third-party streaming services, operating systems, applications, routers, networks, mobile devices, content providers, or connected equipment;
Issues caused by internet availability, network conditions, account restrictions, digital rights management, or regional content availability;
Products with removed, altered, damaged, or illegible serial numbers or product labels;
Products submitted with an incorrect or mismatched serial number;
Damage caused by natural disasters or other external events outside VANKYO’s reasonable control;
Products that are found to operate within their published specifications; or
Costs or damage resulting from an unauthorized return.
Products purchased at a discounted or promotional price remain eligible for warranty coverage if they otherwise meet the requirements of this Policy.
Before approving warranty service, VANKYO Customer Support may provide troubleshooting steps to identify or resolve the reported issue.
Troubleshooting may include:
Checking the power supply and cable connections;
Restarting, resetting, or updating the projector;
Reviewing image, sound, focus, keystone, network, or input settings;
Testing with another compatible cable, power source, network, or connected device;
Providing photographs or video of the reported issue; or
Completing other reasonable diagnostic steps.
Customers are expected to cooperate with reasonable troubleshooting instructions.
Technical support does not extend the warranty period and does not by itself confirm that a projector has a covered defect.
To request warranty service, contact:
VANKYO Customer Support
Email: support@ivankyo.com
Please provide:
Your full name;
Your order number or valid proof of purchase;
The projector name and model;
The product serial number;
The date and place of purchase;
A clear description of the issue;
Any troubleshooting steps already completed; and
Clear photographs or video showing the issue, where applicable.
Please do not return your projector before receiving approval and current return instructions from VANKYO Customer Support.
Submitting a warranty request does not automatically confirm warranty eligibility. VANKYO may review the purchase information, product history, serial number, troubleshooting results, supporting materials, and returned product before approving a warranty solution.
Acceptable proof of purchase may include:
An order number for a purchase made through ivankyo.com;
A sales invoice showing the seller, product, purchase date, and amount paid; or
A dated sales receipt from a VANKYO-authorized retailer showing the product purchased.
VANKYO may request additional information where reasonably necessary to:
Confirm that the product is genuine;
Verify that the seller was authorized;
Confirm the original purchase date;
Match the product to the purchaser;
Confirm the original delivery information; or
Prevent fraudulent or duplicate claims.
Payment screenshots or documents that do not clearly identify the product, seller, and purchase date may not be sufficient on their own.
In some cases, the projector may need to be returned for inspection before a repair, replacement, or other warranty solution is approved.
The inspection may be used to confirm:
The product model and serial number;
The reported issue;
The physical and functional condition of the projector;
Whether the product has been misused, modified, or improperly repaired;
Whether the issue is caused by a third-party device, accessory, software, network, or service;
Whether the projector is operating within its published specifications; and
Whether the issue is covered under this Warranty Policy.
If a covered manufacturing defect is confirmed, VANKYO will provide an appropriate warranty solution.
If no covered defect is found, Customer Support will explain the available options. The customer may be responsible for return shipping or other reasonable costs where permitted by law and communicated in advance.
For a confirmed issue covered under this Warranty Policy, VANKYO may provide one or more of the following solutions:
Additional troubleshooting or technical support;
Repair of the projector;
Replacement of the projector; or
Another solution agreed upon by VANKYO and the customer.
Whenever reasonably possible, VANKYO will replace the projector with the same product model originally purchased.
If the same model is temporarily out of stock or no longer available, VANKYO Customer Support will contact the customer to discuss the available options. These options may include:
Waiting for the same model to become available;
Receiving another suitable model agreed upon by the customer and VANKYO; or
Receiving another mutually agreed solution.
VANKYO will not replace the projector with a different model without first communicating with the customer and obtaining the customer’s agreement.
The available solution may depend on:
The nature of the issue;
Troubleshooting and inspection results;
Product availability;
The age and condition of the projector;
The original purchase channel;
The customer’s location; and
Applicable law.
Warranty service does not entitle the customer to a product upgrade, a newer model, or additional accessories unless VANKYO agrees otherwise.
When a replacement is approved:
VANKYO will generally provide the same projector model, subject to availability;
The original defective projector may need to be returned;
All return instructions provided by VANKYO must be followed;
The serial number of the returned projector must match the approved warranty claim; and
The original product must not be replaced with another unit.
If the required projector is not returned, the incorrect product is returned, or the serial number does not match the approved claim, VANKYO may cancel the replacement or take other reasonable action permitted by law.
A replacement does not begin a new one-year warranty period. It remains covered for the remainder of the original projector’s warranty period, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
If a projector must be returned for a suspected or confirmed quality-related issue, VANKYO Customer Support will provide the applicable return instructions.
Depending on the product, reported issue, customer location, and available carrier service, VANKYO may provide a prepaid return shipping label.
A prepaid return shipping label may not be available in every situation.
If a prepaid label cannot be provided, VANKYO Customer Support will explain the available shipping arrangements before the customer sends the projector.
Where approved in advance, VANKYO may reimburse reasonable return shipping costs if the claim is later confirmed to be covered under this Warranty Policy.
Customers should not arrange or pay for return shipping before receiving instructions from VANKYO Customer Support.
VANKYO may not reimburse:
Shipping arranged without prior approval;
Expedited or premium shipping services;
Additional shipping insurance;
Packaging or handling services;
Cross-border shipping costs not approved in advance; or
Other costs not authorized by VANKYO Customer Support.
If VANKYO provides a prepaid shipping label, the customer must use that label and follow the provided packaging and shipping instructions.
If inspection determines that the issue is not covered by this Warranty Policy, the customer may be responsible for return shipping and other reasonable costs communicated in advance.
Before returning a projector, the customer should:
Follow all instructions provided by VANKYO Customer Support;
Package the projector securely to prevent shipping damage;
Use the return label or shipping method approved by VANKYO;
Include only the products and accessories requested by Customer Support;
Sign out of personal accounts where reasonably possible;
Remove external storage devices and unrelated personal items;
Keep the shipping receipt and tracking information; and
Ship the product within the period stated in the return instructions.
Do not include streaming devices, memory cards, mounts, personal cables, or other accessories unless VANKYO specifically requests them.
VANKYO is not responsible for personal or unrelated items accidentally included in a return.
Warranty service is intended for projectors purchased and used in the market for which they were originally sold.
Replacement inventory, compatible components, shipping labels, carrier services, or repair options may not be available when a projector is taken outside its original country or region of purchase.
If warranty service is requested outside the original market, the customer may be responsible for:
Shipping costs;
Customs charges;
Taxes;
Import or export requirements;
Transportation risks; and
Other related expenses.
Available support will be determined by VANKYO Customer Support based on the circumstances, service availability, and applicable law.
Some projectors may store:
Account information;
Network information;
Application data;
Login credentials;
User preferences; or
Other personal information.
Before sending a projector for warranty service, customers should sign out of personal accounts, remove external storage devices, and reset the projector where reasonably possible.
Warranty service may require the projector to be reset, repaired, or replaced in a way that removes stored information.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, VANKYO is not responsible for the loss, disclosure, corruption, or recovery of data stored on a product submitted for warranty service.
Do not send a projector to:
An address shown on the original shipping carton;
An address used for an earlier return;
A warehouse address found online;
A retailer’s address; or
Any address not specifically provided for the current warranty request.
Return destinations may vary depending on the product, order, service type, and fulfillment location.
Unauthorized returns may be refused, delayed, returned to the sender, or subject to additional shipping and handling costs.
The one-year warranty covers eligible manufacturing defects.
It does not provide a one-year right to return a projector because of:
Change of mind;
Personal preference;
Compatibility preferences;
A lower price becoming available;
A new promotion beginning after purchase; or
Another non-quality-related reason.
Non-quality-related returns are governed by the VANKYO Return & Refund Policy and must be requested within the applicable return period.
A warranty claim does not automatically qualify for a refund. The available solution will be determined based on the product issue, troubleshooting and inspection results, product availability, and applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VANKYO’s responsibility under this Warranty Policy is limited to the repair, replacement, or other approved solution for the covered projector.
VANKYO is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from a projector failure, including loss of use, loss of data, loss of revenue, or the cost of substitute equipment.
Where permitted by law, VANKYO’s total responsibility relating to a projector will not exceed the amount originally paid for that projector.
Some states do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so these provisions may not apply to every customer.
This Warranty Policy gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state.
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or changes any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or changed.
Where applicable law provides greater protection than this Warranty Policy, the applicable legal requirements will apply.
VANKYO may update this Warranty Policy to reflect changes in its products, services, business practices, or applicable requirements.
The version of the Warranty Policy in effect on the original purchase date will generally apply to the projector, unless an updated version provides greater protection or applicable law requires otherwise.
